WHAT IS PHYSICAL THERAPY?
Physical Therapy is a branch of medical professionals that specialize in the habilitation or rehabilitation of disabilities either congenital or acquired which results from, or secondary to injury or disease. It deals with the correction and prevention of physical impairments as well as the attainment, maintenance, and enhancement of functional activities of daily living.

THE PRACTICE OF PHYSICAL THERAPY
The practice of Physical Therapy is conducted by a skilled and licensed professional called a Physical Therapist. Physical Therapists examine, evaluate, and administer treatment which includes, but not limited to, the use of physical


measures, modalities, and activities for preventative and therapeutic purposes. The performance of such services are for the purposes of preventing or reducing the incidence and severity of physical disability, bodily malfunction and pain.
